Martin is the Managing Director of Major Training Services Pty Ltd. In this role he has gained considerable experience as a successful project manager of significant training development and delivery projects for government agencies and large corporations. As well as more than 22 years with MTS, Martin has over 16 years practical management experience including financial resource management and purchasing responsibilities.
Martin's personal passions are his family, which includes two rapidly maturing young men, the Sydney Swans AFL team and skiing.
Martin's qualifications include - Master of Business Administration, Macquarie University; Bachelor of Science (Computing), University of NSW; Advanced Diploma of Government (Proucrement and Contracting); Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting); Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
David was appointed as MTS Business Manager in early 2014 who operates from our Head office in Sydney but is frequently interstate (in particular Canberra and Darwin) overseeing and monitoring performance of key client projects.
David brings experience from a diverse background, initially in the Professional Services Industry (having worked for three of the big 4 Accounting Firms early on in his career), followed by 15 years in a variety of Human Resource Outsourcing positions gaining experience in Learning and Development, Recruitment and Career Management. Notably David held the role of National Sales Manager for a number of years with a leading RTO specialising in training for the Financial Services, Accounting and Real Estate Industries. In this role he was responsible for, as is the case with MTS, business development; customer service; client relationship management; and project management of training, consultancy and practitioner tasks.
David is responsible for MTS’ business development and ongoing client delivery.
Business Manager (QLD)
Janelle has 30 years experience in Procurement & Contacting, Management, HR, Financial Planning, Learning & Development and Training Consultancy. Janelle has worked at various levels of Federal and State governments, including Veteran Affairs, Purchasing Australia and Queensland Department of Public Works. Her commitment and expertise in procurement education enabled her to establish strategic alliances across a range of government jurisdictions as well as tertiary and professional bodies. She was State Project Manager responsible for two major government procurement education frameworks that have been widely used for the past 10 years and received national and international recognition with Janelle personally winning several business achievement awards.
Janelle holds a Diploma of Business, TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and various government procurement credentials. Janelle brings to MTS an empathetic professionalism and enjoys working with people to support them in successful learning outcomes.
Jenni joined Major Training Services (MTS) in July 2012. Jenni comes to MTS with a strong background in Administration, having worked in a variety of industries including, waste management, club administration, importing and distribution, print industry and local government.
Jenni is responsible for the day-to-day management of MTS’ Administration Services including: management of the MTS Administration team; developing and implementing policies and procedures; assisting with RTO compliance; data management; Human Resources and is the first point of contact for general enquiries.
Since joining MTS, Jenni has taken a keen interest in VET having completed the four Assessor Skill Set units from the TAE40110 qualification and other workshops regarding RTO compliance.
