MTS Solutions History

MTS Solutions is the Consulting and Advice division of Major Training Services Pty Limited (MTS). MTS is a 100% Australian owned Small to Medium Enterprise that employs over 40 personnel nationally. The company was formed in 1994 with a strong focus on providing Procurement Solutions, Consultancy Advice, and Training and Development services to both private and public sector clients.

In conjunction with MTS Learning, we are a full Procurement Services provider able to assist your organisation with the following quality assured services:

  • Category Management implementation and support;

MTS Solutions Methodology

Our extensive experience in providing quality procurement services and a commitment to delivering innovative practical solutions has led to the development of a systematic approach to supporting clients. This ensures the best possible outcome and the delivery of genuine tangible results.

Outlined below are the activities we undertake when engaging with clients (depending of course on the scope and extent of the assistance required).

These activities are not rigid step by step processes that ignore the individual needs of our clients. Rather they are the key processes we follow in finding the right solution tailored to our clients’ needs. The emphasis we place on each activity is dependent on specific requirements of the client and the task under consideration.

Phase 1: Scoping and needs identification

  • Develop an understanding of the organisation’s operating context;
  • Conduct organisation needs assessment;
  • Stakeholder identification and appreciation;
  • Review and benchmarking of existing resources, systems, methodologies;
  • Development, discussion and selection of strategies to close any gaps identified.

Phase 2: Closing the Gap

  • Stakeholder identification and appreciation;
  • Development and implementation of detailed plans.

Phase 3: Implementation

  • Lead, or assist the client to deliver the solution.

Phase 4: Review

  • To maximise project outcomes and assist our clients in being quality focused learning organisations.
